RAISE THE PADDLE

The professional development budget for faculty and staff is funded largely by the Raise the Paddle effort at the auction.
Professional development is key
for the continuous learning of our faculty and staff; it’s a big recruitment and retention tool, and most importantly it has a direct impact on teaching and learning for our students.

This evening highlight takes place during the live auction on Saturday, April 26, and is an opportunity for everyone to make a fully tax-deductible contribution supporting Langley's outstanding faculty.

During the 2023 - 2024 school year:

  • Langley spent $186,000 on professional development for faculty and staff.
  • Faculty and staff attended more than 60 workshops, training sessions, or conferences.
  • More than 50 of these professional development opportunities directly impacted students, while the others enhanced overall operations.
